The four lightboxes that make up the City Streaming series feature hand-processed B&W 16mm film that was used in a live projector performance called Dredge City. The material was shot one frame a time, translating the everyday action of walking through the city into a dynamic, minimal and abstracted  experience of the urban landscape. The City Streaming titles are an homage to Stan Brakhage, and the works echo his perceptual experiments and probe the limits of film, expanding the way in which it can be experienced.  Please see the Colour Fields text for general information on the lightbox work.
